J-Hawk Soccer Club
The J-Hawk Soccer Club exists to provide a low-cost, volunteer led and volunteer coached soccer experience to youth in the Urbandale community, where players learn the importance of citizenship, teamwork, positive attitude, effort, fundamentals, and sportsmanship, in a safe and welcoming environment.
We are always on the look out for those within our soccer family that are interested in helping out within the club. If you or someone you know is looking for a great opportunity to support youth soccer in our community we would love to hear from you. Below are some opportunities that are currently available.
No prior experience is necessarily needed, you will be partnered with one of our current volunteers to ask questions, etc.

Treasurer - Board Member
Do you have a knack for finance? If so, this is a great opportunity to manage and monitor the club's finances. This position would also sit on the board with the following requirements.
Attend monthly board meetings
Meetings are roughly an hour long
Provide monthly finance updates
Track finances throughout the year
Manage expenses and reimbursement to the club and external entities
Director of Uniforms
Do you have a knack for organization? If so, this is a great opportunity to manage the ordering and distribution of uniforms. The time commitment is limited to a few hours prior to the spring and fall seasons.
Manage order forms from club members
Manage uniform inventory
Fulfill and coordinate the distribution of uniforms
Do you have a knack for helping out? If so, this is a great opportunity to help setup fields and help answer any questions that attendees have at soccer games. Limited time commitment to just a few hours every Saturday morning during the spring and fall seasons. There is an opportunity to have multiple volunteers assist in setting everything up.
Setup goals and flags prior to games each Saturday morning. Usually takes 10-15 minutes.
Help answer any questions that guests or players have around the games being played.
All games are played on Saturday mornings at the upper fields of Walker Johnston Park in Urbandale.
Do you have a knack for organization and leadership? If so, this is a great opportunity to manage our great group of volunteers. We are always looking for people to get involved and are looking for someone to lead this effort.
